Comments

When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the information displayed in the comment form as well as the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash value) may be sent to the Gravatar service to determine whether you are registered there. The privacy policy for the Gravatar service can be found at https://automattic.com/privacy/. Once your comment is approved, your profile picture will appear publicly along with your comment.

Media

If you upload images to the site, you should avoid uploading images where the EXIF data includes GPS location data. Visitors to the website can download and retrieve all positioning data from images on the website.

Cookie files

We use cookies.

If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website address in cookie files. This is for your convenience so that you don't have to fill in this information again the next time you post a comment. These cookies are valid for one year.

If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to check if your browser accepts them. This cookie does not contain any personal data and it disappears when you close your browser.

When you log in, we will also create several cookie files to save information about your login and your screen layout design choices. Login cookies are valid for two days and layout selection cookies are valid for one year. If you check "Remember me", your cookie will remain for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be deleted.

If you edit or publish an article, an additional cookie file will be saved in your browser. This cookie file does not contain any personal data but only indicates the post ID of the article you just edited. It is valid for 1 day.

If you click on links that have a label with the text "ad link", this means that a cookie will be registered in your browser. We then use that cookie to create an overview of how you used the link to get to the target page. The cookies that are registered can be stored for different lengths of time. Other types of cookies may also occur.

Information letter / Newsletter

In the event that you sign up for our newsletter, we collect the information provided (usually your email), as well as the date of registration. This is handled by Sendinblue. It is always possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter.

Embedded content from other websites

Articles on this website may contain embedded content (for example, videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves exactly the same as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect information about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking and monitor your interaction with said embedded content, including tracking your interaction with this embedded content if you have an account and are logged into the website in question.

Who we share your data with

If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the reset email.

How long we keep your data

If you write a comment, the comment and its metadata will be saved indefinitely. The reason for this is that we need to be able to find and approve follow-up comments automatically and not queue them for review.

For users who register on your website (if any), we also save the personal data they enter in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal data at any time (with the exception that they cannot change their username). Even site administrators can see and edit this information.

What rights you have over your data

If you have an account or have posted any comments on this website, you can request an export file of the personal data we hold about you, including any information you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal data we have about you. This does not include any data that we are required to save for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where we send your data

Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.

The reason we collect information is because we wish to offer inspirational letters to our visitors, with interesting information. We also wish to use it to optimize and improve the website.

Google Analytics and third-party cookies

It may happen that we use the tool Google Analytics to collect visitor statistics. Google collects and stores the visitor's IP address. Google processes IP addresses to provide the Google Analytics service and to provide us with information about where in the world their users are located. Google does not share the IP addresses that are collected.

In addition to the cookies that we at energirikare.se create ourselves, cookies can be created by other services, for example by Google, Youtube, Facebook and Twitter, which we use on our websites (third-party cookies).

GDPR

If we register personal data via our websites, this is placed on one of our partners' storage locations, for personal registration and customer communication. It is in their storage locations that they have assured us that they comply with the current GDPR rules. Currently, we use sendinblue.com as a partner.
