Heestrand has a long history connected to Bohuslän's granite industry. During the 19th and early 20th centuries, the area was known for its quarries where Bohuslän granite was quarried and exported all over the world. It is a cozy swimming spot and a beautiful sight to lie on the rocks and look out to the west. It is often mighty winter.

2. Hike along the Bohusleden and coastal paths

For those who love hiking, there are beautiful trails in the area. One of the best hikes takes you along the Bohuslän coast where you can enjoy fantastic views, wild cliff landscapes and exciting geological formations.

When she finally arrives among the boathouses, she shines like an angel. They unite and finally get married on the rocks. Everywhere you looked, you saw hearts. Both in the mountains and up in the sky. Who wouldn't do that, I think.

One of the most unique things to do in Heestrand is to visit the old quarries. Here you can learn more about how granite was quarried and transported in the past.
