BUS TRIP WITH FLIXBUS OR BUS4YOU? – COMPARISON.
I would like to strike a blow to travel by bus. I happen to travel to Norway a little from time to time, and I have found the perfect way to do it: by bus! It might sound boring or uncomfortable, but I promise it's the opposite. I will tell you why I prefer the bus to other means of transport when I want to visit the capital of the neighboring country.

Buses often depart between Gothenburg and Oslo.
There are two bus companies that run between Gothenburg and Oslo. These are Bus4you and Flixbus. The buses usually come from Malmö when I hop on in Gothenburg. Both have several departures a day, so it's easy to find a time that suits me. I can also choose whether I want to start my journey in Gothenburg, Uddevalla or Tanum. It depends a little on where I am before, because I travel around Bohuslän and sometimes it is better to hop on the bus north of Gothenburg.
The buses are comfortable, with pleasant drivers.
I have always had good experiences with the bus drivers. They are friendly, helpful and professional. They drive safely and follow the timetable. The buses are also clean, spacious and equipped with everything you need for a pleasant journey. There is free wifi, power sockets, toilet, air conditioning and comfortable seats. Some buses even have individual screens where you can watch movies or play games.

One of the great advantages of traveling by bus is that you get to see so much of the beautiful nature that exists between Gothenburg and Oslo. I love looking out the window and seeing how the landscape changes from forests and lakes to cliffs and seas. I also get to see quaint little villages, historic sites and exciting cities along the way. It's like a sightseeing tour in itself!
The travel time is only a few hours long.
Another advantage of traveling by bus is that the journey time is not as long as you might think. It takes about 3 hours to travel from Gothenburg to Oslo by bus, which is comparable to driving or flying. If you factor in the time to get to and from the airport, check in, go through security and wait for the flight, flying can actually take longer than taking a bus. In addition, you avoid the stress, cost and environmental impact of flying.
Ticket purchase is easy and flexible.
Also want to mention how easy and flexible it is to buy tickets for the bus. It can be arranged online, via the app or on site. There are different price classes and ticket types, depending on how much I want to pay and how much I want to be able to change or cancel my trip.

But, it may be because it suits me better for me, and my traveling party will usually travel further by train or bus further north from Oslo.
